Clarion Free Library offers many services to our community.

Computer and Internet Access:

CFL offers free computer and Wi-Fi access to all patrons. There are 8 terminals in the upstairs computer lab and 2 terminals in the children’s library. For Wi-Fi access outside of the library the network is ClarionFreeLibrary.

Printing:
Patrons can print from computers in the public computer lab. For patrons using personal computers on the Wi-Fi network, please transfer your files to a lab computer for printing.

Black & White pages: $0.25 per page.
Color pages: $0.75 per page.

Note: Patrons are expected to pay for all printouts, even mistakes. If you are unsure how to print or if it will print how you would like, please ask staff for help.

Copying
Black & White pages: $0.25 per page.
Color pages: $0.75 per page.

Faxing:
Faxes are $1.00 per page. Our cover page is free, just ask for one!
Copies and Faxes are completed at the circulation desk.

Passports:
Clarion Free Library is an authorized passport acceptance facility. If you plan to apply for a passport, please contact the library at +1(814) 226-7172 before your visit to ensure that a passport acceptance agent is available and to ensure you bring the necessary items for the application process.

Interlibrary Loan:
Items not housed in CFL’s collection may be requested from other libraries using the Interlibrary Loan service. Please complete an ILL request from at the circulation desk. Donations to support the ILL service are appreciated. The loan period for ILLs is 2 weeks from pick-up. ILLs cannot be renewed. 

Genealogy Research:
CFL staff will perform genealogical searches for specific materials or information, such as obituaries or birth dates. The search fee for each specific search is $10.00. Advance payment is required. Please contact the library for details, or complete this online form. Checks can be made payable to Clarion Free Library.

The Book Cellar:
The book sale room is open during the library’s regular operating hours. It contains paperbacks, hardbacks, music CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks. Items are priced by donation. The Book Cellar is maintained by the Friends of the Library. All proceeds benefit the library.

Meeting Room:
The library’s meeting room (located on the first floor) is available for use by the public. Please contact the library at +1(814) 226-7172 for information regarding fees and dates available. NOTE: The library has first priority in use of the meeting room.
