OUR MISSION
Friends of the Clarion Free Library is a member supported nonprofit organization that advocates, fundraises and provides support for the Clarion Free Library
Meetings
The Executive Committee meets the first Monday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Clarion Free Library, at the conference table in the stacks. These meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
Book Cellar & Book Donations
The Friends of the Clarion Free Library oversee the Book Cellar, the used books and more store, in the lower level of the Clarion Free Library. The Friends also hold at least two used book sales annually. Proceeds from these book sales directly benefit the Clarion Free Library. We accept donations of gently used books throughout the year to facilitate these fundraisers. We cannot accept textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books, magazines or damaged books. We reserve the right to discard any unusable donations. Books may be dropped off at the front desk of the library any time during operating hours.
Upcoming Events:

The Friends host a monthly book club referred to as the “Book Club at the Brew Pub”. The club meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm, typically at Mechanistic Brewing Co, and at the library during winter months.
Please check out their Facebook page for more information.

It’s time for the Spring Clean Out! Friends of the Clarion Free Library will be taking book donations from 9 AM – 2 PM on March 21 in the meeting room of the library. We’re happy to take your books off your hands! Can’t make it on the 21st? You can drop them off when the library is open during regular business hours.
